  • What goods or services does Survival Gear Planet offer?

    Survival Gear Planet is a leading provider of emergency preparedness items. We specialize in survival kits, long-term shelf life food and water, survival seeds, emergency tools and supplies among other emergency preparedness items. We can accommodate anything from single item orders to commercial level bulk sales consisting of tens of thousands of orders.

  • What types of payment do we accept?

    Survival Gear Planet accepts Visa & Mastercard.

  • Where do our products ship from?

    Our fulfillment warehouse is located in Ogden, Utah.

  • What shipping options are available?

    We exclusively ship with UPS. We do not provide options for other shipping methods.

  • How do you get shipping details after you’ve made a purchase?

    When you complete your order, our system will send you an email confirming your purchase. It will outline our shipping information and let you know your product will ship within 2-5 business days. (most of our orders ship in under 48 hours, but we say 2-5 days to be safe). Once your order leaves our fulfillment warehouse, you’ll get another email with your UPS tracking information.

    At any time, you can email orders@survivalgearplanet.com with questions about your order. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 48 hours.

  • How long does shipping take?

    One of our top priorities is making sure you get your Survival Gear Planet orders as quick as possible. We strive to get all orders out in 48 hours but 2-5 business days is our company policy. For certain long term food storage items, it can take 2-4 weeks to ship, but in most cases our food products include free shipping to offset the shipping time.

    Please note: During peak demand periods (when natural disasters hit etc) we cannot guarantee our shipping times. Our facilities get overwhelmed with reactionary purchases during these times. For this reason, we advise our customers to order our emergency preparedness products proactively, not reactively. When you have a Survival Gear Planet kit in your house, car and office, you’ll be prepared in case of emergency and will not get stuck waiting during peak disaster times.

  • What currency do we accept?

    Our products are priced in $ US Dollars (USD), and you will be charged in $ US Dollars (USD). We do not offer alternative payment currencies. Please check with your bank and/or credit card company for current exchange rates before making your purchase.

What is our return/refund policy?

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days from the time the order is placed as long as the products are returned in the same re-sellable condition deemed by Survival Gear Planet Ltd.

    If the item(s) is defective, Survival Gear Planet Ltd. will replace the item and pay for the return shipping. Only the item will be replaced; not the entire survival kit. Should you notice or have any discrepancy in your billing/invoicing you have 30 days to report it to Survival Gear Planet Ltd.

    If an item is damaged by UPS during the shipment, it is the customer’s responsibility to contact UPS directly. Insurance is issued free up to $100 but insurance must be paid for in advance if the customer wants insurance over $100.

    Food and water products cannot be returned to be re-sold according to law, therefore refunds for food and water products will not be issued.

    For orders returned for any reason other than defective merchandise, the shipping charges will not be refunded and there will be a restocking fee of up to 20% of the original charge of the order.

    Any order that is canceled before it ships out will have an 8% cancellation fee deducted from the refund. If the order has shipped before we were able to cancel it, then the return policy mentioned above will be applied.
